When applying for a grant from the Chesapeake Bay Trust, it is important to read over the additional resources sections on each grant page. These resources have been selected by our grant team members as useful tips and tools to use when applying in order to have a strong proposal. Each grant program also has a page of model projects which highlights completed grants that showcase the requirements a strong proposal and project should have.

The Chesapeake Bay Trust also has produced resources that would be beneficial to review before applying for certain grants:
*NEW* Community Based Restoration Project Manual: All the information you will need to know about reducing rainwater runoff from your yard, including, how much a rain barrel costs, what you will need to build a rain garden, and how much runoff you will contain using a green roof.
*NEW* Watershed Plans Inventory: A list of all the current and developing watershed plans across the state of Maryland. Great resource if you are looking to apply for a grant.
