The Pioneer Grants program is currently closed, but look for the next program announcement in 2007. 

The following projects and items were NOT eligible for funding in 2006:

  - Projects that did not address nutrient reductions
  - Projects outside of agriculture or NEW land development
  - Pure research
  - Graduate student tuition
  - Incidentals such as food and tee shirts
  - Endowments, individuals, loans, fundraising, advertising or publications
