The following projects and items have NOT been eligible for funding previously through the Targeted Watershed grant program.  Please make sure to review specific requirements for the upcoming program when announced.

  - Projects that did not address reductions in nutrient load
  - Projects in areas that did not have local watershed organizations or interested local governments
  - Projects in watersheds larger than 11 square miles
  - Pure research
  - Incidentals such as food and tee shirts
  - Graduate student tuition
  - Endowments, individuals, loans, fundraising, advertising or publications
